Our Mission Expanded
The Power of TEENS is unique in it's mission to help ensure the continued education and emotional empowerment of everyone whose lives we touch. We were founded in 2007 by a husband and wife team who saw a disparity in the public education programs offered on the subject of HIV & AIDS awareness in the community, and vowed to make a change.
In the eight years since the organization's founding, we have provided educational supportto more than 1,000 youth in the Peidmont Triad area, while fostering a learning enviroment comprised of prevention, safety and emotional teachings. As you know, the work we do is made possible by the valued support of members of this community, and organizations which share our passion for -not only our cause- but for social engagement and interaction.
